Guides to becoming saved
Confess with your mouth
And if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, you shall be saved. One of the steps to receiving salvation is by confessing the Lordship of Jesus (that He came in the flesh, crucified, died and resurrected). And through His death and resurrection, He has redeemed you from the power of sin and death, thereby reconciling you back to God so that you can now be called a child of God. (John 1:12).
Believe in your heart
The next step is to believe in your heart. To receive genuine salvation, you must believe in your heart what you have confessed with your mouth (Romans 10:10). One of the reasons you need to believe in your heart is because you cannot confess whom you have not believed in, as that will translate to deception.
Personal walk with God
And now that you have believed and confessed the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and have received the peace and love that come with salvation, you then need to have a personal relationship with God (because He is now your Father). The following are what to do in having a personal walk with God:
(a) Daily reading of God’s word (The Bible). As a new believer, you need to daily read the word of God, as you need something to help you begin to think like your Father.
(b) A consistent time to talk with your Father (Prayer). As a new believer, you need to consistently talk to your Father (God) about everything (Romans 8:32). Remember, when you read the Bible, God talks to you, and when you pray, you are talking to God (your Father).
(c) The Helper (The Holy Spirit). You will need the help of the Spirit of God in your relationship with your Father (God), particularly when you are tired to hear or talk to your Father (God) (Romans 8:26).
Fellowship with believers
As you begin your journey with God (your Father), you need to know that there are other children of God (believers) who have God as their Father, and there are many more that are coming after you that will have God as their Father too. Because of this, we all come together to learn from ourselves so that we can be better in our relationships with God (our Father). This gathering is sometime called ‘Church’ (Hebrews 10:24-25).
SALVATION PRAYER
Will you say this prayer to receive Jesus into your life?
Dear Jesus, I need you and realized I can not help myself. I acknowledge that You died for my sins and rose on the third day. Please forgive me of all my sins, come into my life right now and be my Lord and personal Saviour. In Jesus’ name I ask, Amen.
If you just said this prayer, please contact us so that we can start this journey of Christianity with you.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20)
March For Jesus
This is a one-day event organized by the Redeemed Christian Church of God in conjunction with other Bible believing and practising Churches in Saskatoon.
This inter-denominational 7km-walk is among other programs that RCCG offers that aim to foster unity and inclusiveness for the Christian community in Saskatoon and its environ.
This March for Jesus event is meant to proclaim the Lordship and Sovereignty of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ upon the land and beyond, and to also pray for peace, security and economic prosperity of the City of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Canada.
Canada Day Outreach
Every July 1st, Canadians come together to celebrate the country’s full sovereignty (confederation), originally called Dominion Day until 1982. To commemorate this special day, our team, with the full consciousness of the eternal fact that there is truly no freedom nor dominion over sin and sinful habits without Jesus Christ, come out to share the love of Christ in our city. Just as Canada informally celebrates her birthday every July 1st, if you invite Jesus Christ into your heart today, you shall continually celebrate your new birth and freedom. Remember Jesus stands with open arms knocking gently at the door of your heart and willing to wrap you in HIS embrace. Revelations 3:20 and Mathew 11:28-29.
