Ushers
The ushering department is the gatehouse of the church or the Public Relations Department of the church. Ushers are public relation officers who represent the church to every visitor, first-timer and the congregation by extending to them the unconditional love of Christ and ensuring that they are able to worship in a comfortable environment. The duty of an usher is to help the pastor, other ministers and head of departments succeed in their ministries and departments thereby making the vision of the ministry come to pass.
Sanctuary Keepers
"For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" MARK 10:45.
Like our mentor Jesus Christ, we have taken up the responsibility to serve. The sanitation department is in charge of cleaning the church sanctuary and its environs. Other than cleaning the church we also are involved in building and encouraging ourselves in the Lord by having meetings where we break bread and share the word.
Library & Special Duties
The church library supports the mission and vision of the church by providing books, audio and video DVD to build members up in their Christian faith as well as making available materials that can support our brethren in every phase of life – teenagers, young adults and adults.
We believe that readers are leaders. Therefore, we encourage members to borrow books, audio and video CD/DVDs by visiting our stand, and making their choice from the array of materials on our shelf.
We also encourage brethren to pre-order books they know of a godly resource that can benefit them and other members. We aim to get these resources as soon as possible.
To borrow books / DVDs, please visit our stand at the end of the service on Sunday. Other than cleaning the church we also are involved in building and encouraging ourselves in the Lord by having meetings where we break bread and share the word.
Protocol & Security
"For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." PSALM 84:10
Our Security and Protocol department are responsible for making sure the Church perimeters are secured and accessible by all who wish to enter. The work to order is maintained inside and outside the auditorium.
Transportation
The transportation team provides a support system that conveys members to church programs.
Our goal is to make the movement of people to and from church as well as its related activities, easier.
If you are in need of a ride to church please contact (306) 361 - 5432.
