THEME: RESTING IN HIS PRESENCE
TOPIC: IN HIS PRESENCE: THERE IS PROTECTION
Today is Father’s Day. It is interesting how God plays a large role in our lives as our Heavenly Father. Romans 8:15 “… we have received the Spirit of adoption, therefore we can boldly say ‘Abba, Father.’”
God our Father represents protection; he also represents support and succour and refuge and comfort and reassurance and even deliverance in times of trouble. Hebrews 4:16 – “Let us come boldly before the throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need.’”
When we continually appear before His presence; when we always come boldly and humbly unto the throne of Grace; when we are habitually located in His hiding place; when His dwelling becomes our constant pavilion; when we can be found in the hollow of His hands – Then we truly become wrapped in His presence and then we are guaranteed of His ever loving protection and mercies.
David was a man, a father in Israel, who experienced first-hand, the divine protection of God while dwelling in His presence. And the Psalmist said: “Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for thou art with me!”
There is no help anywhere else that can compare to the help that we obtain in His presence. The best thing that can happen to a home, is for everybody in the household to dwell in the presence of the Lord, with the father of the home leading the way. The Psalmist said: “I will lift up my eyes unto the Hills, from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” Hallelujah!
As we continue to pass through this journey of life, may we always be located in His presence in Jesus Name. May His presence go with us in the Mighty Name of Jesus! May we find comfort and protection and deliverance as we become lost in Him and as we give Him our whole being in Jesus Name.
