RECREATED AND BLESSED TO FLY IN CHRIST JESUS
For the past four weeks we have been blessed to listen to the word of God on this theme. The need to be recreated has been stressed, we have been reminded that to be blessed we need to stay in Christ, focus on Him and abide in His words. We also have to stay away from sin at all cost.
John 15:4-11 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. To fly (bear fruit) we must (abide) stay closer to God, we must abstain from all works of darkness, live holy and be ready to listen to God's guidance and obey it without delay. Are you abiding in Christ? In your daily walk how grounded are you in God's word? Has your Adamic nature been put to death? To round this month up I ask of you; "what is limiting you from doing all that you have heard"?
As you have made up your mind to follow Jesus wholeheartedly this year, you have decided to stay recreated and holy, you have taken steps to make sure you are grounded in Jesus, please keep in mind that Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. Psalms 127:1. Make it a habit to ask God to build you up daily so you can be consistent in your decision to follow Him.
Today we will spend time praying to God over all that we have learnt this month and set the tone for the remainder of this year.
