2021: MY TIME TO FLY IN THIS YEAR OF DOUBLE CROSSOVER

 

February 2021 Theme: “Exceling through & in the power of the Holy Spirit”

 

Happy new month, dearly beloved of God. In January 2021, we were recreated and blessed to fly through Christ Jesus and this month the Lord has chosen to remind us that a profitable and sustainable flight is one attained by the power of the Holy Spirit. Prov. 24:10

 

  • Let someone shout Hallelujah: Note that the dead cannot shout hallelujah and 2 types of living can, those seeing it as the Pastor seeking their attention and those that are graced with divine understanding, who are sincerely grateful to God for who He is to them.

 

  • The blessings of God in Gen. 1:26-28 is for all mankind
    1. Anyone can thrive when there is total calmness & enabling environment 
    2. However only they that are strong & have made Christ Jesus their strength can continue to thrive through and in the power of the Holy Ghost when in the days of calamity.

 

  • No greater opportunity than now: Storms should be welcomed and like water surfing, the board or floatation device is the Holy Spirit that carries us through the storms of life
    1. Noah rode upon the power & grace of God
    2. Job & Jeremiah knew their God and stayed on HIM. 
    3. David, did not turn their back on life challenges 
    4. Joseph weathered the storms of life & the rage of siblings 
    5. Daniel & the 3 Hebrew children saw an opportunity to honour God.
    6. Paul wrote most of the bible epistles in the prison 
    7. Elisha, compared to sons of prophets recognized time & seasons of great opportunity
      • Father I receive the grace to ride upon the wings of the holy spirit like an eagle

 

  • What role does the Holy Spirit play in the life of a true believer 
    1. He is the greatest strategist, creating room for divine illumination
    2. Gives boldness to declare the words of God. Inability to proclaim Jesus openly is a proof of the absence of the Holy Spirit
    3. Helps your prayer life 
    4. Ability to do the supernatural, your level of exploits is a function of how much of the Holy Spirit you allow in you. 
    5. Helps us overcome all temptations
    6. Does not force himself upon you for change but can assure your eternal glory if you allow Him. He will consume every bad habits and helps you conform to Gods will if you cooperate with Him. 
    7. Holy Spirit comes inform of WIND and FIRE When you carry the fire of the Holy Spirit, you will be noticeable and can never compromise with sinners 

 

  • Do not envy the wicked for they are fattened for the day of destruction Psalm 73
